Overnight Oats with Essential Oils

I am a breakfast girl.  I have to eat within an hour of being awake or else I truly get hangry! I can go without coffee but not food!
overnight oatsOne of my favorite breakfasts is overnight oats.  They are super easy to make a head of time and the options are endless!

Even little ones like this yummy healthy breakfast!

1/2 cup milk of choice (I suggest vanilla soy or unsweetened almond milk)

1 tbsp nut butter (peanut butter or almond butter are my favorites)
2 tsp chia seeds
2tsp flax seeds
1/2 cup rolled oats (or steel cut oats)
1 drop Young Living Cinnamon Bark Vitality, essential oil

Toppings (optional)

Fresh Fruit (blueberries, banana, mango, apples, strawberries, etc.)
Dried Cran-raisins

  1. Place everything (aside from toppings) in a glass jar and stir together until well combined. Cover jar with foil or seal lid on container and let soak overnight.
  2. Before eating, top with fresh fruit, granola, nuts or your choice of toppings!

This is so easy to make and easy to make a few at a time to save you from the morning rush!  Get through the week, healthy!
