weekend recap

Sunday is meant for lazy mornings, staying in bed to snuggle a little longer, cartoons in your pajamas (in bed).  An extra cup of coffee and breakfast with the family…

This Sunday started exactly like that, that and our two-year-old dropping his first F-Bomb.
fbombMy Husband was trying to fix something that wasn’t quite happening with the help of busy little hands in the way un-doing it.  The F-Bomb slipped out of my Husbands mouth and within seconds our son shouted F!@K oops! My jaw dropped and I immediately changed the subject with a good ol’ “What sound does a cow make?” but not before he F-Bombed one last time – eek!

We all piled up into the grocery-getter (Mama’s car) and headed to Home Depot for a few items needed for our Sunday projects.  Lawn fertilizer, new plants for the mini garden – this weekend we got Edamame plants & a few cactus plants for the office.

After we got home little mister was a bit sassy so I made him a snack, started the diffuser with some Believe Essential Oil.  We needed something to add a bit of sunshine to the day.  This blend contains Idaho Balsam Fir and Frankincense essential oils that may encourage feelings of strength and faith. With other complementary oils, the combination in this blend may help assist as you move to a higher level of awareness. As you are able to move past emotional setbacks and barriers, you will be able to reach your true, unlimited potential.Primary Benefits: Encourages clarity and enlightening thoughts; Brings a sense of peace and awareness and is spiritually grounding; and Promotes relaxation and confidence.

I also decided to bake Banana Cinnamon Muffins.  I have been really into incorporating Essential Oils into my food lately and thought Cinnamon Bark essential oil would be a delicious addition … it was!  I also tried out Young Living’s Einkorn Flour

After lunch, we opted for family nap time!  As much as I am not a napper, today I could not wait to lay down and get a little bit of a reset in!

After we woke-up I meal planned for the week and then we were off to The Boys Farmers Market.  This place is so great!  It is super busy but worth it!  From the fresh produce to the coffee, flowers, poultry, fish and the choo-choo train that runs around the store’s ceiling.  It is a really great place to shop!

As the evening approached I refreshed the diffuser with a blend of Ylang Ylang & Orange. Orange oil offers a sweet, peaceful aroma that can fill a room with a sense of peace, harmony, and creativity. A perfect blend to help me start some laundry and prep for Monday & the week to come.  I am pretty excited that this is a short work-week for us!  Also, Sunday is Easter!!

Here are a few fun photos from the weekend…“After a visit to the beach, it’s hard to believe that we live in a material world”

Volleyball season is here which means we will be at the beach all day most weekends!  We started our Saturday with a run on the beach followed by some park time before watching and cheering on Dada!
