25 Days of Oily Thankfulness

Day 16: Idaho Blue Spruce Sense of smell links emotion to memory.

Idaho Blue Spruce makes me think of winter nights in Wisconsin. Sitting in front of a fire place listening to music and the crackling sounds of the fire wood.

Olfaction or smell is the sense that is physically the closest to the limbic system structures of the amygdala, which is involved in experiencing emotion and also in emotional memory.

Idaho Bluespruce essential oil releases emotional blocks, bringing about a feeling of balance and grounding. Diffusing this essential oil is great for relaxation.
