25 Days of Oily Thankfulness

Day 5: JoyJOY

Joy /joi/ – noun
1. a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.

If I am being 100% honest with you all, there are some days that aren’t so GREAT (as I always encourage it to be) on days like that I make it a point to find my happy. Whether it be turning on and up the music, pouring a favorite drink, reading an inspirational quote or two, and one of my musts … diffusing JOY.

Fun Fact … Essential Oils molecules are so small that they have the ability to enter the blood brain barrier. By direct inhalation and/or diffusing essential oils the aroma causes the olfactory nerve to send messages to the limbic part of the brain which activates thoughts, emotions, and memory.

So next time you are feeling down, looking for emotional balance or need something uplifting, reach for Joy essential oil!

Joy™ is a delightful blend of Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Lemon, Coriander, Tangerine, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, and Rose essential oils that harmonize for a sweet, joyful aroma.
