Candles have been popular for many many years but there is a better, healthier option for your family. Diffusing Young Living Essential Oils. Real plant, real flower, real health benefits.
Why I diffuse and no longer use Candles: The fragrance should match the name. If it is named Lavender & Lemon, then it should not smell like a random floral scent or candy. You should be able to sense the floral notes of the lavender and the bite of citrus from the lemon. With essential oils, you will know immediately what you are smelling.
Once lit, a candle will begin to emit a stream of soot, toxins and chemicals into the air as well as your lungs. When using a Young Living Diffuser you are not burning anything. Young Living diffusers do not use heat.
Its ultrasonic technology breaks any mixture of essential oils and water into millions of microparticles, disperses them into the air, and releases the constituents found in Young Living essential oils. The ultrasonic frequency generates waves at 1.7 million times per second, releasing essential oil molecules into the air to help create a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere in your home or office.
With essential oils, I can improve my health needs and get the relaxing benefits from the oils aroma. With candles you are smelling scented wax, Cinnamon Roll, is not natural. Instead you can diffuse Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil and get the same natural scent and benefit from its many medical properties such as: anti-inflamitory, powerful antibacterial. anti-fungal, anticoagulant, circulatory stimulant, etc.
Safe for my family including my baby. My son can breath in the microparticles, dispersed into the air from the diffuser safely. He can not do this with a candle. Flames are dangerous when you have curious hands around at all times. Diffusers won’t start fires like candles will.
During 2007-2011, U.S. fire departments responded to an estimated average of 10,630 home structure fires started by candles per year. These fires caused an annual average of 115 civilian deaths, 903 civilian fire injuries, and $418 million in direct property damage. (Source)
One of my favorite ways to use essential oils is aromatically. Many of us have had a time where a smell triggers a memory—freshly baked bread, pine needles, or spring flowers can easily take you back to positive times in your life. Essential oils are the same!
So, if you are ready to ditch your candles, I am ready to help you replace them with amazing natural oils! I promise you, your house will smell like a spa at all times and your overall wellbeing will benefit in so many ways! If you have any questions, email me!
Where and how should I start? I always direct people to where I started, and where most do when beginning their journey with Essential Oils. Young Living has put together an amazing starter kit for beginners containing 11 everyday oils, a diffuser, and a lot of samples and information packets. It is called the Premium Starter Kit and sells for $160.00 to wholesale members.
This kit is perfect for those new to using essential oils because it contains some of the most popular oils, such as thieves, lavender, peppermint, stress away, and lemon to name a few. This kit has everything you need for a basic natural first aid kit and has hundreds upon hundreds of uses. I am attaching a document to show you what is all in this kit. I do not really care for the other kits, they are kind of lame. You just pay a lot for samples, not bottles of oils…
