coffee scrub, wine & remembering to breathe

I’ll spare you all the details because I know as soon as pen hits paper I will just sound whiney and I hate whiney.

How I bounced back is all that really matters, right?

    • Coffee Grounds
    • Essential Oil (I like orange or Frankincense for coffee scrubs)
    • Olive Oil

It’s as simple as putting the coffee grounds (used//after brew) into a glass bowl, then drizzeling olive oil into the bowl until you reach your desired consistency. last add 2-3 drops of essential oil. apply to face, lightly massaging. I leave this on for 15-20 minutes usually.

Wipe off with a wet paper towel and toss in the trash. Drains do not like coffee grounds!
WINE … always wine && an Epsom salt bath. 1/2 cups Epsom Salt
1+1/2 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Himalayan Salt (or sea salt)
10 drops of your favorite Essential Oils*

*this blend is 4 Bergamot, 4 Lavender, 2 Orange

I use the contents of this jar for 3 baths. It is a recycled 14oz coconut oil jar

Sweating is your body’s natural way of detoxifying. Soaking in hot water can assist in pulling harmful toxins from your skin. Detox baths can also help ease sore muscles. This ancient remedy assists your body in eliminating toxins as well as absorbing helpful minerals and nutrients. If you struggle with toxins or skin issues, or are just looking for a way to boost your overall health, try taking a detox bath in your very own home.

Prepare your body – The minerals in a detox bath will help pull toxins from your skin in a process that can be quite dehydrating, so be sure you are well hydrated going into your detox bath. It is recommended that you drink one full glass of water at room temperature before your detox bath.
